In Saturday's non-league contest, the Dixie Greyhounds (New Lebanon, OH) softball team overwhelmed the host Catholic Central Irish (Springfield, OH), by a margin of 13-7.

With the triumph, Dixie moves its record to 1-0 on the year. The Greyhounds host Arcanum (Arcanum, OH) to play the Trojans in a Western Ohio Athletic contest on Tuesday, April 5. The Trojans come into the contest with a record of 4-2. Arcanum won 12-5 in their recent non-league contest against Eaton (Eaton, OH)

In their next game, the Irish play the Greenon Knights (Springfield, OH) in a Ohio Heritage South contest, on Monday, April 4. Catholic Central will attempt to move on its 0-2 season record.
