Collierville Dragons (Collierville, TN) backers exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting DeSoto Central Jaguars (Southaven, MS), 2-1 in a non-league challenge.

The Dragons now own a 4-2 record. They take the field next when they host Southwind for a 4A District 15 challenge on Monday, April 4.

With the loss, DeSoto Central falls to 9-7 on the season. The Jaguars travel to Grenada (Grenada, MS) to meet the Chargers in a non-league match on Monday, April 4. The Chargers go into the match with a record of 3-11. Grenada won 17-10 in their recent league match against Starkville (Starkville, MS)
