David Crockett Pioneers (Jonesborough, TN) backers exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting White House Blue Devils (White House, TN), 8-6 in a non-league challenge.

The Pioneers now own a 3-4 record. They take the field next when they host Daniel Boone for a challenge on Monday, April 4. David Crockett will battle a Trailblazers squad coming off a 1-0 non-league loss to Demopolis (Demopolis, AL). The Trailblazers record now stands at 8-2.

With the loss, White House falls to 3-11 on the campaign. The Blue devils host Creek Wood (Charlotte, TN) to battle the Red Hawks in a 3A District 9 challenge on Monday, April 4. The Red Hawks enter the challenge with a record of 4-6. Creek Wood won 5-1 in their recent non-league challenge against Forrest (Chapel Hill, TN)
