Whiteoak Wildcats (Mowrystown, OH) backers exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting East Tartans (Sciotoville, OH), 22-4 in a non-league challenge.

The Wildcats now own a 2-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to North Adams for a Southern Hills Athletic challenge on Monday, April 4. Whiteoak will battle a Green Devils squad coming off a 21-4 league loss to Lynchburg-Clay (Lynchburg, OH). The Green Devils record now stands at 0-2.

With the loss, East falls to 0-1 on the campaign. The Tartans host Notre Dame (Portsmouth, OH) to battle the Titans in a Southern Ohio I challenge on Monday, April 4. The Titans enter the challenge with a record of 1-1.
