The Fairfield Lions softball team scored 14 runs and limited the host South Point Pointers to 0 in the Lions non-league triumph on Saturday.
With the triumph, Fairfield moves its record to 3-0 on the year. The Lions host West Union (West Union, OH) to clash with the Dragons in a Southern Hills Athletic game on Monday, April 4. The Dragons come into the game with a record of 1-2. West Union won 7-5 in their recent non-league game against Glenwood (New Boston, OH)
In their next game, the Pointers clash with the Gallia Academy Blue Devils (Gallipolis, OH) in a Ohio Valley game, on Monday, April 4. South Point will attempt to move on its 0-3 season record.
