The Wellsboro Hornets routed the visiting Galeton Tigers softball squad by a final score of 16-1 in Saturday's non-league battle.

The Hornets (1-0) will now prepare for their battle against Troy (Troy, PA). The Trojans go into the Northern Tier - Large battle with a 0-1 record. In their last battle, Troy was routed by Northeast Bradford (Rome, PA), 14-10, in a non-league battle.

The Tigers now possess a 0-1 record. They play next when they travel to Coudersport for a North Tier battle on Monday, April 4.
