The Wheeler Lions softball team (North Stonington, CT), was routed 25-16 in Saturday's league test with the host Lyman Memorial Bulldogs (Lebanon, CT)

Coming up next, the Bulldogs encounter the Putnam Clippers (Putnam, CT) in a non-league test, on Tuesday, April 5. Lyman Memorial will attempt to improve on its 1-0 season record. The Clippers enter the test with a 0-1 record after their 10-0 non-league loss to Windham (Willimantic, CT).

The Lions (0-2) will now prepare for their test against Plainfield (Central Village, CT). The Panthers enter the Eastern Connecticut - Small test with a 1-0 record. In their last test, Plainfield prevailed over Tourtellotte (North Grosvenordale, CT), 24-3, in a league test.
