The crowd at Saturday's non-league match between the Notre Dame-Cathedral Latin Lions (Chardon, OH) and the host Mentor Cardinals (Mentor, OH), saw Notre Dame-Cathedral Latin's softball squad nip Mentor by a count of 12-9.
The Lions now sport a 2-0 record. They take the field next when they host Beaumont School for a North Coast match on Tuesday, April 5.
