California High School Softball - Santiago can't get by Notre Dame

In Saturday's non-league contest, the Notre Dame Spirits (Salinas, CA) softball team held off the host Santiago Sharks (Corona, CA), by a margin of 1-0.
With the triumph, Notre Dame moves its record to 9-4 on the year. The Spirits travel to Watsonville (Watsonville, CA) to play the Wildcatz in a PCAL - Gabilan contest on Tuesday, April 5. The Wildcatz come into the contest with a record of 8-4. Watsonville lost 9-6 in their recent non-league contest against Westmont (Campbell, CA)
In their next game, the Sharks play the Roosevelt Mustangs (Eastvale, CA) in a Big VIII contest, on Wednesday, April 6. Santiago will attempt to move on its 6-9 season record. The Mustangs come into the contest with a 14-2 record after their 11-3 non-league win over Bishop Amat (La Puente, CA).
