The crowd at Saturday's non-league match between the South Panola Tigers (Batesville, MS) and the host Tuckerman Bulldogs (Tuckerman, AR), saw South Panola's softball squad nip Tuckerman by a count of 8-1.
The Tigers now sport a 16-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Hernando for a 6A Region 2 match on Monday, April 4. South Panola will face a Tigers squad coming off a 15-0 league win over Horn Lake (Horn Lake, MS). The Tigers record now stands at 17-5.
With the loss, Tuckerman falls to 4-4 on the campaign. The Bulldogs travel to Melbourne (Melbourne, AR) to face the Bearkatz in a match on Monday, April 4. The Bearkatz enter the match with a record of 8-3. Melbourne won 7-5 in their recent league match against Midland (Pleasant Plains, AR)
