In Tuesday's non-league game, the visiting Arlington Catholic Cougars baseball team scored a nice 9-0 victory over the Manchester Essex Hornets.
The Cougars (1-0) will now prepare for their game against Shawsheen Valley Tech (Billerica, MA). The Rams go into the non-league game with a 0-1 record. In their last game, Shawsheen Valley Tech was overwhelmed by Saugus (Saugus, MA), 4-0, in a non-league game.
The Hornets (0-1) will now prepare for their game against Bishop Fenwick (Peabody, MA). The Crusaders go into the non-league game with a 1-0 record. In their last game, Bishop Fenwick ran past Mystic Valley Regional (Malden, MA), 6-0, in a non-league game.
