The Sand Creek Scorpions baseball team scored 14 runs and limited the visiting Manitou Springs Mustangs to 12 in the Scorpions non-league victory on Tuesday.
The Scorpions (4-3) will now prepare for their match against Widefield (Colorado Springs, CO). The Gladiators go into the non-league match with a 2-1 record. In their last match, Widefield tipped Pueblo Centennial (Pueblo, CO), 6-2, in a non-league match.
The Mustangs (4-2) will now prepare for their match against Salida (Salida, CO). The Spartans go into the 3A Tri-Peaks match with a 1-2 record. In their last match, Salida by Bayfield (Bayfield, CO), 9-7, in a non-league match.
