The Mt. Vernon-Enola Warhawks baseball team scored 20 runs and limited the host Wonderview Daredevils to 2 in the Warhawks non-league victory on Tuesday.
The Warhawks (7-7) will now prepare for their match against Sloan-Hendrix (Imboden, AR). The Greyhounds go into the 2A Region 2 match with a 7-5 record. In their last match, Sloan-Hendrix was overwhelmed by Cedar Ridge (Newark, AR), 7-0, in a league match.
The Daredevils (0-7) will now prepare for their match against Guy-Perkins (Guy, AR). The Thunderbirds enter the 1A Region 4 bout with a 2-6 record. In their last bout, Guy-Perkins was overwhelmed by Nemo Vista (Center Ridge, AR), 15-1, in a league bout.
