The Rio Grande Ravens got by the host Sandia Matadors baseball team by a count of 11-10 in Tuesday's non-league bout.
The Ravens now possess a 9-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Capital for a 5A District 5 bout on Saturday, April 6. Rio Grande will face a Jaguars team coming off a 5-4 non-league win over St. Michael's (Santa Fe, NM). The Jaguars record now stands at 7-6.
Next, the Matadors face the Farmington Scorpions (Farmington, NM) in a 5A District 2 bout, on Friday, April 5. Sandia will attempt to move on its 12-4 season record. The Scorpions enter the bout with a 7-8 record after their 7-5 non-league loss to Cleveland (Rio Rancho, NM).
