North Carolina High School Baseball - South View defeats South Columbus

April 2, 2024: Hope Mills, NC 28348

Spectators at Tuesday's non-league battle between the South View Tigers (Hope Mills, NC) and the visiting South Columbus Stallions (Tabor City, NC), saw South View's baseball squad knock off South Columbus by a count of 8-3.

Coming up next, the Tigers play the Seventy-First Falcons (Fayetteville, NC) in a United Eight 3A/4A battle, on Monday, April 8. South View will attempt to move on its 9-6 season record. The Falcons enter the battle with a 3-10 record after their 13-2 non-league win over Douglas Byrd (Fayetteville, NC).

The Stallions now possess a 8-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to West Columbus for a Waccamaw 1A/2A battle on Tuesday, April 9. South Columbus will play a Vikings squad coming off a 5-2 non-league win over South Stanly (Norwood, NC). The Vikings record now stands at 6-7.
