Illinois High School Volleyball - Lincoln-Way Central over Romeoville

The crowd at Tuesday's non-league bout between the Lincoln-Way Central Knights (New Lenox, IL) and the host Romeoville Spartans (Romeoville, IL), saw Lincoln-Way Central's volleyball squad beat Romeoville by a tally of 2-0.

With the win, Lincoln-Way Central upgrades its record to 6-4 on the year. The Knights host Plainfield East (Plainfield, IL) to play the Bengals in a non-league bout on Tuesday, April 16. The Bengals go into the bout with a record of 5-4. Plainfield East won 2-0 in their recent league bout against Minooka (Minooka, IL)

The Spartans now own a 3-5 record. They play next when they host Joliet West for a Suburban Prarie bout on Thursday, April 4. Romeoville will play a Tigers squad coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Andrew (Tinley Park, IL). The Tigers record now stands at 11-2.
