In Tuesday's league test, the visiting Oceanside Sailors lacrosse squad scored a tight 8-5 victory over the Mepham Pirates.

The Sailors now have a 1-3 record. They take the field next when they host Carle Place for a Section 8 Freelance test on Thursday, April 4. Oceanside will face a Frogs squad coming off a 10-9 non-league loss to Calhoun (Merrick, NY). The Frogs record now stands at 0-2.

The Pirates (1-1) will now prepare for their match against Bethpage (Bethpage, NY). The Golden Eagles go into the Section 8 B match with a 3-0 record.
