South Hills Huskies (West Covina, CA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Bishop Amat Lancers (La Puente, CA), 7-3 in a non-league challenge.

The Huskies now own a 5-1 record. They take the field next when they host Los Altos for a challenge on Tuesday, April 9. South Hills will battle a Conquerors squad coming off a 9-2 non-league loss to La Habra (La Habra, CA). The Conquerors record now stands at 6-4.

With the loss, Bishop Amat falls to 1-2 on the campaign. The Lancers travel to Chino Hills (Chino Hills, CA) to battle the Huskies in a non-league challenge on Thursday, April 4. The Huskies enter the challenge with a record of 4-3.
