In Tuesday's non-league test, the visiting Swansboro Pirates lacrosse squad scored a tight 8-6 victory over the Jacksonville Cardinals.

The Pirates now have a 6-2 record. They take the field next when they host Northside - Jacksonville for a non-league test on Friday, April 5. Swansboro will face a Monarchs squad coming off a 8-2 non-league win over New Hanover (Wilmington, NC). The Monarchs record now stands at 2-5.

In their next game, the Cardinals face the First Flight Nighthawks (Kill Devil Hills, NC) in a Big Carolina/Northeastern Coastal test, on Monday, April 8. Jacksonville will attempt to move on its 2-5 season record. The Nighthawks come into the test with a 7-2 record after their 15-3 non-league win over Lafayette (Williamsburg, VA).
