La Vega Pirates (Waco, TX) fans were pleased Tuesday as they observed their soccer team triumph over the host Manor New Tech (Manor, TX), 5-0 in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Pirates confront the Navasota Rattlers (Navasota, TX) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, April 5. La Vega will attempt to better on its 22-1 season record. The Rattlers enter the challenge with a 21-2 record after their 2-1 non-league win over Scarborough (Houston, TX).

The now have a 16-6 record.
