The Bearcats now own a 1-1 record. They take the field next when they host Ellinwood for a non-league challenge on Monday, April 8. Ellsworth will face a Eagles squad coming off a 15-5 non-league loss to Little River (Little River, KS). The Eagles record now stands at 0-3.

With the loss, Russell falls to 0-4 on the campaign. The Broncos host Goodland (Goodland, KS) to face the Cowboys in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, April 9. The Cowboys enter the challenge with a record of 2-6. Goodland won 9-4 in their recent non-league challenge against Garden City (Garden City, KS)
