California High School Softball - Oakmont bounces McClatchy

April 2, 2024: Roseville, CA 95661

The Oakmont Vikings (Roseville, CA) softball routed the visiting McClatchy Lions (Sacramento, CA), 10-2 in Tuesday's non-league bout.

The Vikings (5-6) will now prepare for their bout against Cosumnes Oaks (Elk Grove, CA). The Wolfpack go into the non-league bout with a 6-7 record. In their last bout, Cosumnes Oaks was routed by Franklin (Elk Grove, CA), 6-2, in a league bout.

The Lions now possess a 3-3 record. They play next when they travel to Burbank for a Metropolitan Conference bout on Wednesday, April 3. McClatchy will confront a Titans squad coming off a 21-1 league loss to Kennedy (Sacramento, CA). The Titans record now stands at 0-3.
