The Monroeville Eagles softball team scored 12 runs and limited the host Wilson Lakemen to 1 in the Eagles non-league triumph on Tuesday.

With the triumph, Monroeville improves its record to 3-2 on the year. The Eagles host Boyd County (Ashland, KY) to clash with the Lions in a District 64 game on Wednesday, April 3. The Lions come into the game with a record of 6-4. Boyd County won 5-0 in their recent non-league game against Letcher County Central (Whitesburg, KY)

In their next game, the Lakemen clash with the Blazer Tomcats (Ashland, KY) in a non-league game, on Wednesday, April 3. Wilson will attempt to improve on its 1-1 season record. The Tomcats come into the game with a 2-3 record after their 13-5 non-league loss to South Webster (South Webster, OH).
