The Mountain View Vikings routed the visiting San Gabriel Matadors softball squad by a count of 20-5 in Tuesday's non-league battle.

The Vikings (4-12) will now prepare for their battle against Rosemead (Rosemead, CA). The Panthers go into the Mission Valley battle with a 5-8 record. In their last battle, Rosemead was routed by Montebello (Montebello, CA), 4-3, in a non-league battle.

The Matadors now sport a 1-11 record. They play next when they travel to Schurr for a Almont battle on Tuesday, April 9. San Gabriel will meet a Spartans squad coming off a 9-4 non-league win over Legacy (South Gate, CA). The Spartans record now stands at 19-1.
