The Pleasant Valley Raiders (Jacksonville, AL) softball routed the visiting Wellborn Panthers (Anniston, AL), 11-1 in Tuesday's non-league bout.
The Raiders (9-8) will now prepare for their bout against Oxford (Oxford, AL). The Yellow Jackets go into the non-league bout with a 9-11 record. In their last bout, Oxford was routed by Alexandria (Alexandria, AL), 4-1, in a non-league bout.
The Panthers now possess a 5-11 record. They play next when they travel to Weaver for a 3A Area 10 bout on Tuesday, April 9. Wellborn will confront a Bearcats squad coming off a 5-2 non-league win over Ashville (Ashville, AL). The Bearcats record now stands at 9-6.
