Spectators at Tuesday's non-league match between the West Lincoln Rebels (Lincolnton, NC) and the visiting South Point Red Raiders (Belmont, NC), witnessed West Lincoln's softball squad prevail over South Point by a count of 15-5.

The Rebels now sport a 7-6 record. They play next when they host Kings Mountain for a non-league match on Tuesday, April 2. West Lincoln will face a Mountaineers squad coming off a 16-0 league win over Huss (Gastonia, NC). The Mountaineers record now stands at 9-0.

With the loss, South Point moves to 6-6 on the season. The Red raiders host North Gaston (Dallas, NC) to face the Wildcats in a Big South 3A match on Tuesday, April 9. The Wildcats go into the match with a record of 2-7. North Gaston lost 16-2 in their recent league match against Forestview (Gastonia, NC)
