The Westfield Bombers baseball team scored 8 runs and held the host Agawam Brownies to 7 in the Bombers league win on Wednesday.

The Bombers now own a 3-0 record. They take the field next when they host Minnechaug Regional for a Valley test on Monday, April 7. Westfield will play a Falcons team coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Belchertown (Belchertown, MA). The Falcons record now stands at 1-0.

With the defeat, Agawam moves to 0-1 on the season. The Brownies travel to East Longmeadow (East Longmeadow, MA) to battle the Spartans in a Valley match on Friday, April 4. The Spartans come into the match with a record of 1-0. East Longmeadow won 15-2 in their recent non-league match against Holyoke (Holyoke, MA)
