The North Stanly Comets triumphed over the visiting A.L. Brown Wonders baseball squad by a score of 16-6 in Wednesday's non-league outing.
Next up, the Comets encounter the South Stanly Rowdy Rebel Bulls (Norwood, NC) in a Yadkin Valley 1A/2A outing, on Friday, April 4. North Stanly will attempt to advance on its 14-0 season record. The Rowdy Rebel Bulls enter the outing with a 12-3 record after their 11-7 non-league win over Piedmont (Monroe, NC).
The Wonders (4-10) will now prepare for their outing against Mooresville (Mooresville, NC). The Blue Devils enter the Greater Metro 4A outing with a 11-5 record. In their last outing, Mooresville achieved victory over Forbush (East Bend, NC), 5-4, in a non-league outing.
