In Wednesday's non-league game, the host Bellbrook Golden Eagles baseball team scored a close 4-1 win over the Archbishop Alter Knights.
The Golden Eagles (2-3) will now prepare for their game against Greeneview (Jamestown, OH). The Rams go into the non-league game with a 1-1 record. In their last game, Greeneview nudged Tecumseh (New Carlisle, OH), 11-7, in a non-league game.
Next, the Knights play the Fairmont Firebirds (Kettering, OH) in a non-league game, on Thursday, April 3. Archbishop Alter will attempt to improve on its 1-2 season record. The Firebirds go into the game with a 3-3 record after their 5-1 non-league loss to Milford (Milford, OH).
