New Jersey High School Baseball - Plainfield holds off Bound Brook

In Wednesday's non-league game, the host Plainfield Cardinals baseball team scored a close 7-3 win over the Bound Brook Crusaders.
The Cardinals (1-0) will now prepare for their game against Linden (Linden, NJ). The Tigers go into the non-league game with a 0-3 record. In their last game, Linden was overwhelmed by Elizabeth (Elizabeth, NJ), 12-2, in a non-league game.
Next, the Crusaders play the Belvidere County Seaters (Belvidere, NJ) in a Skyland - Mountain game, on Tuesday, April 8. Bound Brook will attempt to improve on its 0-2 season record. The County Seaters go into the game with a 0-2 record after their 6-3 non-league loss to Dover (Dover, NJ).
