The Ferriday Trojans baseball team scored 12 runs and held the visiting Madison Jaguars to 5 in the Trojans non-league win on Wednesday.
The Trojans now own a 1-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Vidalia for a non-league test on Thursday, April 3. Ferriday will play a Vikings team coming off a 12-6 league loss to Caldwell Parish (Columbia, LA). The Vikings record now stands at 6-11.
With the defeat, Madison drops to 0-1 on the year. The Jaguars travel to Richwood (Monroe, LA) to play the Rams in a non-league test on Thursday, April 3. The Rams go into the test with a record of 0-8.
