The Hickory Red Tornadoes triumphed over the host Hibriten Panthers baseball squad by a score of 15-6 in Wednesday's non-league outing.
Next up, the Red Tornadoes battle the Foard Tigers (Newton, NC) in a Western Foothills 3A outing, on Friday, April 4. Hickory will attempt to advance on its 6-7 season record. The Tigers come into the outing with a 4-9 record after their 5-4 league win over Hickory (Hickory, NC).
The Panthers (8-6) will now prepare for their outing against Freedom (Morganton, NC). The Patriots come into the Northwestern 3A/4A outing with a 6-8 record. In their last outing, Freedom was overwhelmed by Alexander Central (Taylorsville, NC), 6-0, in a league outing.
