The Strath Haven Panthers baseball team scored 4 runs and held the visiting Marple Newtown Fightin' Tigers to 1 in the Panthers league win on Wednesday.

The Panthers now own a 4-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Garnet Valley for a Central test on Monday, April 7. Strath Haven will play a Jaguars team coming off a 8-1 non-league loss to Malvern Prep (Malvern, PA). The Jaguars record now stands at 4-4.

With the defeat, Marple Newtown drops to 2-2 on the year. The Fightin' tigers travel to Lower Merion (Ardmore, PA) to play the Aces in a Central test on Monday, April 7. The Aces go into the test with a record of 5-2. Lower Merion won 5-4 in their recent league test against Garnet Valley (Glen Mills, PA)
