North Carolina High School Baseball - Mount Pleasant held off by West Cabarrus

April 2, 2025: Mt. Pleasant, NC 28124

West Cabarrus Wolverines (Concord, NC) fans left the game pleased Wednesday as they observed their baseball squad achieve victory over the host Mount Pleasant Tigers (Mt. Pleasant, NC), 5-3 in a non-league match.

With the triumph, West Cabarrus advances its record to 7-8 on the season. The Wolverines host Central Cabarrus (Concord, NC) to battle the Vikings in a non-league match on Monday, April 7. The Vikings come into the match with a record of 4-11. Central Cabarrus lost 4-0 in their recent league match against East Rowan (Salisbury, NC)

The Tigers now have a 10-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Christ the King for a non-league match on Thursday, April 3. Mount Pleasant will battle a Crusaders squad coming off a 8-2 league win over Corvian Community (Charlotte, NC). The Crusaders record now stands at 7-6.
