The Palmerton Blue Bombers baseball squad (Palmerton, PA), was edged 6-5 in Wednesday's league contest with the host Saucon Valley Panthers (Hellertown, PA)

With the triumph, Saucon Valley moves its record to 6-0 on the season. The Panthers travel to Notre Dame-Green Pond (Easton, PA) to confront the Crusaders in a Colonial contest on Friday, April 4. The Crusaders come into the contest with a record of 4-3. Notre Dame-Green Pond won 15-2 in their recent league contest against Catasauqua (Catasauqua, PA)

The Blue Bombers now possess a 2-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Catasauqua for a Colonial contest on Thursday, April 3. Palmerton will confront a Rough Riders squad coming off a 17-0 league loss to Northwestern Lehigh (New Tripoli, PA). The Rough Riders record now stands at 0-4.
