Delaware High School Baseball - Sussex Central defeats Polytech

April 2, 2025: Georgetown, DE 19947

The crowd at Wednesday's league battle between the Sussex Central Golden Knights (Georgetown, DE) and the visiting Polytech Panthers (Woodside, DE), saw Sussex Central's baseball team gain a win over Polytech by a tally of 14-9.

The Golden Knights (2-2) will now prepare for their battle against Laurel (Laurel, DE). The Bulldogs enter the non-league battle with a 0-3 record. In their last battle, Laurel was overwhelmed by Caravel Academy (Bear, DE), 4-0, in a non-league battle.

Next, the Panthers face the Sussex Academy Seahawks (Georgetown, DE) in a non-league battle, on Thursday, April 3. Polytech will attempt to upgrade on its 2-2 season record.
