The St. John Bosco Braves baseball team scored 14 runs and held the host Villa Park Spartans to 7 in the Braves non-league win on Wednesday.
The Braves now own a 9-4 record. They take the field next when they host Orange Lutheran for a test on Saturday, April 5. St. John Bosco will clash with a Lancers team coming off a 7-1 league loss to St. John Bosco (Bellflower, CA). The Lancers record now stands at 1-3.
With the defeat, Villa Park drops to 0-2 on the year. The Spartans host Pacifica (Garden Grove, CA) to clash with the Mariners in a non-league test on Tuesday, April 22. The Mariners go into the test with a record of 6-6.
