The King George Foxes softball squad scored 13 runs and limited the visiting Chopticon Braves to 6 in the Foxes non-league triumph on Wednesday.
Next, the Foxes play the Culpeper County Blue Devils (Culpeper, VA) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, April 3. King George will attempt to upgrade on its 3-0 season record. The Blue Devils enter the challenge with a 2-2 record after their 15-4 non-league loss to William Monroe (Stanardsville, VA).
The Braves (0-1) will now prepare for their challenge against La Plata (La Plata, MD). The Warriors enter the non-league challenge with a 0-1 record. In their last challenge, La Plata was routed by Chesapeake (Pasadena, MD), 18-7, in a non-league challenge.
