In Wednesday's non-league test, the R.J. Reynolds Demons (Winston-Salem, NC) lacrosse team overwhelmed the visiting Grimsley Whirlies (Greensboro, NC), by a count of 15-4.
Next up, the Demons battle the West Forsyth Titans (Clemmons, NC) in a Central Piedmont test, on Friday, April 4. R.J. Reynolds will attempt to move on its 9-2 season record. The Titans enter the test with a 8-2 record after their 24-2 non-league win over Patton (Morganton, NC).
The Whirlies (5-7) will now prepare for their test against Southeast Guilford (Greensboro, NC). The Falcons enter the Metro test with a 3-6 record. In their last test, Southeast Guilford was overwhelmed by Terry Sanford (Fayetteville, NC), 14-12, in a non-league test.
