The Highland Hawks (Warrenton, VA) lacrosse routed the visiting Virginia Academy Patriots (Ashburn, VA), 14-3 in Wednesday's non-league outing.

The Hawks now own a 1-2 record. They take the field next when they host Wakefield School for a VISAA Division 3 outing on Friday, April 4. Highland will face a Fighting Owls squad coming off a 11-2 non-league win over Mt. Vernon (Mt. Vernon, SD). The Fighting Owls record now stands at 3-0.

With the loss, Virginia Academy falls to 3-4 on the year. The Patriots travel to Veritas School (Richmond, VA) to face the Lions in a VISAA Division 2 outing on Friday, April 4. The Lions go into the outing with a record of 1-2. Veritas School lost 14-13 in their recent non-league outing against Fredericksburg Academy (Fredericksburg, VA)
