The Marlboro Mustangs lacrosse squad scored 16 points and limited the visiting New Egypt Warriors to 3 in the Mustangs non-league triumph on Wednesday.

The Mustangs now own a 1-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Liberty for a non-league challenge on Monday, April 7. Marlboro will clash with a Lions squad coming off a 6-0 non-league win over Brick Township (Brick, NJ). The Lions record now stands at 1-1.

With the loss, New Egypt falls to 0-1 on the year. The Warriors travel to Long Branch (Long Branch, NJ) to clash with the Green Wave in a non-league challenge on Friday, April 4. The Green Wave go into the challenge with a record of 0-2. Long Branch lost 9-0 in their recent non-league challenge against Central Regional (Bayville, NJ)
