Fans at Wednesday's non-league contest between the Pingree Highlanders (South Hamilton, MA) and the host Thayer Academy Tigers (Braintree, MA), witnessed Pingree's lacrosse squad hold off Thayer Academy by a count of 8-7.

The Highlanders (1-0) will now prepare for their contest against Brewster Academy (Wolfeboro, NH). The Bobcats enter the non-league contest with a 2-0 record.
