North Carolina High School Softball - Southern Guilford bounces Cornerstone Charter

April 2, 2025: Greensboro, NC 27409

The crowd at Wednesday's non-league bout between the Southern Guilford Storm (Greensboro, NC) and the host Cornerstone Charter Cardinals (Greensboro, NC), observed Southern Guilford's softball team prevail over Cornerstone Charter by a tally of 17-0.

The Storm (6-3) will now prepare for their bout against Atkins (Winston-Salem, NC). The Camels go into the Mid-State 3A bout with a 4-8 record. In their last bout, Atkins was routed by Glenn (Kernersville, NC), 20-2, in a non-league bout.

In their next game, the Cardinals clash with the River Mill Jaguars (Graham, NC) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, April 3. Cornerstone Charter will attempt to advance on its 5-8 season record. The Jaguars go into the bout with a 7-5 record after their 14-0 league win over Ascend Leadership (Sanford, NC).
