The Taholah Chitwhins triumphed over the visiting Lake Quinault Elks softball squad by a count of 20-1 in Wednesday's league challenge.

Next, the Chitwhins meet the North Beach Hyaks (Ocean Shores, WA) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, April 4. Taholah will attempt to upgrade on its 1-0 season record. The Hyaks enter the challenge with a 4-3 record after their 17-0 league win over Chief Leschi (Puyallup, WA).

The Elks (0-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Wishkah Valley (Aberdeen, WA). The Loggers enter the 1B Coastal challenge with a 1-0 record. In their last challenge, Wishkah Valley overcame Lake Quinault (Amanda Park, WA), 16-1, in a league challenge.
