The West Milford Highlanders softball team scored 17 runs and held the host Passaic Indians to 0 in the Highlanders non-league win on Wednesday.

The Highlanders now sport a 2-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Fair Lawn for a Big North - Independence battle on Friday, April 4. West Milford will encounter a Cutters team coming off a 10-7 non-league loss to Bergen Tech (Hackensack, NJ). The Cutters record now stands at 0-1.

With the loss, Passaic moves to 0-1 on the season. The Indians host Passaic County Tech (Wayne, NJ) to encounter the Bulldogs in a Big North - Liberty battle on Monday, April 7. The Bulldogs come into the battle with a record of 2-0.
