The York Dukes triumphed over the visiting Pike County Central Hawks softball squad by a count of 17-0 in Wednesday's non-league challenge.
Next, the Dukes meet the Pikeville Panthers (Pikeville, KY) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, April 2. York will attempt to upgrade on its 7-2 season record. The Panthers enter the challenge with a 3-7 record after their 10-7 non-league loss to Montini Catholic (Lombard, IL).
The Hawks (6-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Wahama (Mason, WV). The White Falcons enter the non-league challenge with a 9-0 record. In their last challenge, Wahama overcame Meigs (Pomeroy, OH), 9-8, in a non-league challenge.
