The Berthoud Spartans baseball team scored 10 runs and held the visiting Brush Beetdiggers to 2 in the Spartans non-league win on Thursday.

The Spartans now own a 2-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to Northridge for a 4A/3A Longs Peak test on Saturday, April 4. Berthoud will battle a Grizzlies squad coming off a 9-3 league loss to Mountain View (Loveland, CO). The Grizzlies record now stands at 0-8.

The Beetdiggers (5-5) will now prepare for their outing against Bennett (Bennett, CO). The Tigers come into the non-league outing with a 3-5 record.
