Spectators at Thursday's non-league game between the Polytech Panthers (Woodside, DE) and the visiting Indian River Indians (Dagsboro, DE), saw Polytech's softball squad nip Indian River by a score of 7-4.

The Panthers (5-2) will now prepare for their match against Red Lion Christian Academy (Bear, DE). The Lions come into the non-league match with a 2-1 record.

In their next game, the Indians battle the Seaford Bluejays (Seaford, DE) in a Henlopen South match, on Thursday, April 9. Indian River will attempt to better on its 2-2 season record.
