Illinois High School Baseball - Westmont can't hold off Benet Academy

In Wednesday's non-league game, the host Benet Academy Redwings baseball team scored a tight 9-8 victory over the Westmont Sentinels.
The Redwings (4-6) will now prepare for their game against Saint Viator (Arlington Heights, IL). The Lions go into the East Suburban Catholic game with a 16-1 record. In their last game, Saint Viator was edged by Carmel (Mundelein, IL), 11-6, in a league game.
The Sentinels (6-8) will now prepare for their game against Elmwood Park (Elmwood Park, IL). The Tigers go into the non-league game with a 2-7 record. In their last game, Elmwood Park was edged by St. Francis (Wheaton, IL), 12-2, in a league game.
