In Wednesday's league game, the visiting Coleman Comets baseball team scored a tight 10-6 victory over the Farwell Eagles.
The Comets (1-1) will now prepare for their game against Vestaburg (Vestaburg, MI). The Wolverines go into the Mid-State game with a 1-2 record.
The Eagles (0-1) will now prepare for their game against Beaverton (Beaverton, MI). The Beavers go into the Jack Pine contest with a 0-3 record.
